Finnish State Railways – Centralised Entitlement Management in the Core of e-Infrastructure

Our solution allows our customer Finnish State Railways to manage  the entitlements of business-critical applications in a highly efficient manner for both internal staff and external partners. RM5 IdM acts as the centralised user and Entitlement Management Solution in a Service Oriented Architecture that complies to the the standards State Railways has defined for e-services. Accenture, who is a long-term system development partner of the customer, has supported the solution implementation.

AREK – The Employment Pension Information of Every Finn Has Been Protected with RM5 IdM

Arek Oy is an organization which develops and maintains information systems for employment pension management. These systems are provided as services to its customers, which include all members of the Finnish employment pension industry cluster. The organization is owned by private and public employment pension companies and Eläketurvakeskus, the authority responsible of employment pensions in Finland. The user and entitlement management of employment pension systems has been implemented with the RM5 IdM software. With the product the pension companies themselves administer the entitlements of their personnel to centralized employment pension systems. This service is provided by Arek and used by for example Fennia, Etera, Ilmarinen, Tapiola, Varma and Veritas.

In the Arek solution RM5 IdM entitlement management solution has been integrated with CA SiteMinder access management system and Radiant One virtual directory, which is used for automatic provisioning to target systems. The RM5 integration partners are Trusteq and Panorama Partners, whereas the long-term system development partner of the customer is Accenture.
