Deployment Services

The Deployment Services include pilot, standardized deployment and extended deployment.

Pilot

The target of a pilot is to familiarize the customer with centralized entitlement management and its suitability to customer needs. In the pilot the organization and other stakeholders (or a selected part of them) can be engaged with entitlement management development by giving concrete examples of its operation. The project provides an excellent chance to create the entitlement management target state and entitlement administration model. In addition, it provides real experience with the use and benefits of centralized entitlement management service.

Standardized deployment

This service is targeted at customers that deploy RM5 IdM entitlement management either as a service or as an in-house implementation. In the first phase the customer entitlement policy and processes are modeled. The customer’s base data, including users and services, is imported to the system, and the defined processes are configured and parameterized. For target system integration the LDAP/AD interface can be used. In addition, the service includes the training of customer administrators and support for acceptance testing.

Extended deployment

RM5 IdM entitlement management system can be extended by implementing additional integrations with the customer’s source or target systems. These are prioritized and scheduled separately during the deployment project.

RM5 IdM can be deployed as an independent entitlement management system; however, it can also be integrated with the other components of the customer IAM architecture.
